You’ll work with shops in your assigned area, combining face-to-face visits with practical seller support.
Meet and verify local shops
Visit sellers and confirm their location and business details.
Get their shops ready
Help them join Akedi and publish accurate product listings.
Show what their products can do
Introduce clear product photos, Reels and live selling.
Keep the relationship going
Follow up, help sellers update their shops and report issues to Akedi.
What you’ll bring
- Completed at least Form 6.
- A course in marketing is an added advantage.
- Comfortable with TikTok marketing.
- Results-oriented, with a practical approach to helping sellers.
Clear from the start
A 3-month contract,
subject to renewal.
Help real local businesses get established on Akedi and earn from the shops you recruit and support. This is a commission-based role.
UGX 3,000 for every verified shop.
Earn UGX 3,000 when a genuine shop you recruit in your allocated
area is verified and has published
at least five different products, each with product images
.
Plus 8% subscription commission for six months.
Earn 8% of each monthly subscription payment
from a shop you recruit, for a six-month period per shop.
Register genuine shops in your allocated areas.
Visit real, operating shops and record accurate business,
contact and location details. Register each shop with the
owner's or authorised representative's knowledge and agreement.
Teach sellers how to use Akedi.
Show sellers how to upload products and Reels and manage their
own shop. Help each shop publish at least five genuinely
different products with clear images and accurate details.
Duplicate listings of the same product do not count towards
the five-product requirement.
Honesty is a condition of this role.
Fabricated shops, fake product listings and deliberately false
verification details are prohibited.
Proven fabrication or fraud is grounds for contract termination
,
following a review and any required procedure.
Akedi may also pursue
legal action where appropriate,
in accordance with applicable law.
Genuine mistakes should be reported and corrected promptly.
Before you start.
Payment schedules, transport arrangements and the full commission
terms will be explained and agreed in writing. Renewal after the
initial three-month contract is subject to mutual agreement.
